About the WORK

Daniel Arsham returns with limited edition CRYSTAL RELIC 003 sculpture. Measuring 114.3 by 139.7 by 177 millimeters, the artwork was inspired by the first camera that Arsham used in his early photography practice. The artwork is the third piece in his ongoing Crystal Relic series that spotlight iconic, cultural objects. Previous versions in the project included life-sized replicas of a Gameboy and a baseball cap. The CRYSTAL RELIC 003 arrives in studio designed packaging with die-cut foam, sealing label and a pair of white art handling gloves. The sculpture is available in an edition of 500 pieces and includes a holographic label embellished with its edition number and authenticity. (Source)
